2020 Micro Mini Artist Resin Facebook Group
Novice and Beginner's Contest!
ENTRIES ARE CLOSED! GOOD LUCK!
Entries Close: March 31st 2020 @11PM CST
Contest Rules! Please Read, Boring I know!
Novice - "A person new to or inexperienced in a field or situation." The novice division is for artists that do not actively sell* their work for profit, as a job, or take regular commissions*. Less than 2 years painting experience. Please be honest. The point of this whole contest is to give new artists the tools to rise out of being a "novice" artist to the professional experienced artist level.
*[1] It is okay to have sold horses, but this is NOT a way for you to make extra money, you do it to pay for more supplies, or because you want your work out there, ect. If you have regular sales meaning to earn profit, it is my opinion you are not a novice, but a professional with a customer base.
*[2] Painting for friends, for free, or for other people in the hobby but do not do this regularly is fine. If you have "books" or a wait list where you actively seek commissions in my opinion is not a novice artist.
